At our high-tech site in Lichtenau, we process more than 120 000 solid cubic metres of environmentally-friendly and recyclable raw material a year, supplying customers in Germany and throughout Europe. LAUNCH YOUR CAREER WITH OUR COMPANY.
The first rung on the career ladder has a major influence on your future. As a modern, international, family-run business, KELLERHOLZ is an attractive starting point. Training and advanced training at KELLERHOLZ are characterised by a wide range of career options. Training lasts three years and takes the form of a dual system, i.e. you spend time in the mill and at college.

Once you have several years of experience, responsible advanced training options are available, for example to become a training supervisor, saw mill foreman, technician, general foreman. With the right qualification, you can also continue your studies at a university of applied science.

Why wood protects our climate: Wood is produced naturally in an environmentally-sound process which extracts climate-changing CO2 from the atmosphere and stores it. Our raw material is recyclable and can be used in numerous ways - as a raw material, construction material, source of energy and in horticulture. It can be a substitute for many fossil fuels and energy-intensive construction materials and protects natural resources. Wood is sourced from areas which are also unique habitats for numerous plant and animal species and are used for recreational purposes by humans.
WOOD YOU MAKE A SUITABLE EMPLOYEE?
To be considered for dual training at KELLERHOLZ you should have at least a good Certificate or General Certificate of Secondary Education. You will need an Abitur (A-level equivalent qualification) for dual studies.
You need to be interested in wood, have a technical aptitude and be willing to learn. You find it easy to study, like to display your desire to perform well and will also take the initiative if necessary. If so, you "wood" make a good candidate and numerous entry and career options await you.
